Tinctures Made From Fresh Herbs

By Mary Hanna The principles behind making tinctures are to obtain the spiritual and physical quintessence of the plant. This is done by using the powers of ethyl alcohol to dissolve and preserve the herb you are using. The material used to extract the herbs is known as the menstrum. The herbs you are tincturing are called the mark. Tincturing will extract and maintain both the water-soluble and alcohol-soluble properties of an herb. Many people are making their own tinctures from dried and fresh herbs in an interest to be more involved in their health. Tinctures of fresh herbs have proven to be more vitalizing and longer surviving than dried herbs. Dried herbs tend to get moldy or be eaten by insects, tinctures will not. Tinctures will keep for as long as two years and sustain their potency if stored properly. Creating your own tinctures will save you quite a bit of money. If you obtain tinctures at a retail shop you might get a few ounces but if you create them yourself you can yield a quart. When purchasing herbs, be sure you are buying from a trustworthy source. Worthier yet, cultivate your own herbs to be confident of the best possible quality. When growing your own you can make any number of combinations to produce your tinctures. I have further found that when growing my own herbs I get the greater gratification, knowing not only did I brew the tincture but I grew the herbs. I am part of the process from starting point to the development of the tinctures. There are numerous items that you will require to cook up your own tinctures. Number one you need either powdered herbs or fresh cut herbs. Vodka, brandy or rum, 80 - 100 proof to pour over the herbs. Mason jars complete with lids, Muslin or Cheesecloth that is unbleached ands of course, labels. Have on hand 7-10 ounces of chopped fresh herbs for every quart of vodka, brandy or rum. I always try to utilize fresh herbs when creating my tinctures. When using powdered herbs, I use 4 ounces of herbs to one pint of the spirit used. If you are making a tincture from bitter herbs it is best to use rum as it will disguise the flavor of the herbs. To knock out a non-alcoholic tincture, use distilled water, glycerol or vinegar. Just remember if you use the vinegar you must keep it in the refrigerator. Put your herbs in the mason jars and then drizzle the spirit used over them so that it comes up to about an inch above the herbs. Close the lids tightly and tag the jars then put them in a very lightless, balmy section of your home. Keeping them in a paper bag has worked fine for me. You must shake the tincture everyday, several times a day if you can manage it. If you put it by the door you use most often every time you go in or out just shake the bag. At the beginning inspect the tincture daily to be sure the vodka, brandy or rum still is covering the herbs. Allow the brew to steep for at least two weeks and up to three months. When you get to the allotted waiting interval, line a sieve with the cheesecloth or muslin and pour the fluid thru the sieve into fresh bottle. Draw in the ends of the cheesecloth and press to derive all of the fluid. You can now fill small-scale bottles with droppers with the tincture for easy use. Be positive to tag the jar with the name of othe herb the day, the month and the year that it was produced. To use the tincture drop one teaspoon into juice, water, or tea, three times per day. There are no hard and fast rules for creating tinctures. Experiment with diverse combinations. Be sure you note down the recipe you used for each batch so when you come up with a winner you will have it on file. Here are a few ideas for treating colds. Prepare tinctures from the herbs that follow: * echinacea (leaves, flowers) * elder (leaves, flowers, berries) * eyebright (leaves, flowers) * ginger (root) * peppermint (leaves) * yarrow (leaves, flowers) * catnip (leaves) Copyright 2006 Mary Hanna All Rights Reserved. Appetizers for Award-Winning Dinner Party Menus

By Jordi Shoman Planning a dinner parties and entertaining guests does not have to be a harrowing experience. If this is something you feel is completely out of your realm, stick with recipes that you have had success with in the past. You should never try out a new recipe at a dinner party without having at least experimented with it first. The kind of food you serve will also depend on the occasion and the number of guests you plan on inviting. If you know the people, you can make inquiries as to whether they have any food allergies, so you can be careful not to include these on the menu. All dinner parties start off with appetizers. Guests nibble on the hors d'oeuvres while they are waiting to sit down and they chat and discuss various topics. While you want to have a variety of appetizers available, you should not have so many that the guests will be too full to enjoy the meal. This is designed to be just a taste of your exquisite culinary skills. Some suggestions for appetizers include: * Fruit and Yogurt. An array of fruits with a yogurt dip.
* Vegetable tray with a sauce for dipping.
* Crab legs with a seafood sauce
* Brushetta cut into small bite size pieces
* Kabobs made with pineapple, mandarin oranges and cubes of cooked ham There are several ways you can serve the appetizers at your dinner party. If you have a large room, you can place trays of the appetizers at various points - on tables, coffee tables, etc. You can also serve the appetizers as you work your way through the guests. This also gives you a chance to chat with each one and make him/her feel welcome. One thing you do have to remember is that you need to have plenty of napkins for the guests to use. How to Choose a Pond or Fountain Light

By Mike Guista Choosing a Pond or Fountain Light: LED or Halogen? Basically, there are two kinds of lights available for ponds, halogen lights (which have been around for quite a while), and LED, which are more recent developments. Here are some differences between the two. Note that here we are addressing 12volt systems only. Some advantages of LED: Focused light
Solidly built and hard to break, durable
Last twice as long as best fluorescent bulbs and 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs LEDs also are more efficient per watt, produce greater lumens per watt than incandescents or halogen bulbs. LEDs can be built in a number of colors so do not require a filter, which greatly reduces efficiency of light. Finally, LEDs run cooler and are less likely to warm the pond or for their seals to get damaged because of the cooler running temperatures. Some Disadvantages: LED lights are still quite expensive and it is taking a while for the price to drop. Also, it is difficult to find an LED system that produces high wattage. Fountain Tech produces the highest pond light wattage we know of at 8 watts per light fixture. And a total of 130 separate LEDs are used in the fixture to do this! Halogen: Some Advantages These are good lights, not as durable as LEDs but pretty durable all in all. The most common sizes are 10 watt, 20 watt, 35 and 50, though you can also find 75 watt lights. You can usually buy lens covers to change the color of the light, though lens filters do reduce the luminosity a great deal. In general, it is more efficient to use colored bulbs. Still, you will find less light from a colored bulb than a clear one. LED is the way to keep luminosity efficient when using colored light. You can find a good selection of both at Cheap Pumps.
Some Disadvantages: These light bulbs dont last nearly as long as LEDs, though they still last a long time. They burn quite hot and sometimes the high temperatures burn the O-rings and the fixtures leak. About transformers: Transformers that will be used outside (as almost all will!) really need a 3-prong plug. Beware of the for indoor use only transformer as, in order to find an indoor plug and then run the cable to your fixture outdoors these are often more trouble than the price savings is worth. Find a UL-approved transformer that can be used in or out of doors. Thats our recommendation. Michael Guista is president of Fountain Mountain and has published two books. What Does The Student Finance Corporation Do?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Bill_Darken]Bill Darken The Student Finance Corpration helps students to get loans for completing their studies. The range of loans available are for post secondary education. The eligibility and terms of repayment will differ from student to student based on their financial conditions, repayment ability, credit rating and the college that they are applying to. This is called a secondary loan market because it does not finance the loans itself but rather acts as a conduit between lenders, students and schools. The specialty of this organization is to service loans from the Federal Family Education loan program. However, the Student Finance Corpration is just one means of getting loans for students and there are quite a few other organizations who provide loans as well Major types of Student Finance Student finance comes in four major forms: Student Loans: Many students apply for federal government to finance their educations. The main student loan is the Stafford Loan, Such loans have low interest rate, no credit check and also do not require any collateral. There are two ways in which the loan is disbursed, one is when a private company disburses it to the family like the Citibank. All the loans are insured by the Federal Government against default. The second type of loan is when the federal government pays the family directly. Parent Loans: Parents of dependent students can take loans for their children to cover their educational expenses. These are called federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) and unlike the Stafford loan these loans are not subsidized and are
charged at an interest rate of 8.5% for the loans disbursed after July 1 2006. Repayment begins after 60 months of disbursement and you cant wait till the education to get over before repaying the loan. Private Student Loans: Parents and students turn to Private loans for financing their education need because the federal programs are often limited in the amount of money they disburse and this gap has to be bridged by the private players. The rate of interest also is higher comparatively but there are several plans available which give a lot of flexibility to the parents while repaying. Consolidation Loans: Student Loan consolidation is used when one or more loans taken for education purposes by parents and students are consolidated into one big loan and that is repaid instead of the smaller chunks of loans. Consolidation loans are available for most federal loans, including FFELP (Stafford, PLUS and SLS), FISL, Perkins, Health Professional Student Loans, NSL, HEAL, Guaranteed Student Loans and Direct loans. Some lenders offer private consolidation loans for private education loans as well. Student Finance Corporation, Newark NJ If you are living in Newark and are looking for the student finance corporation, newark nj it is known as the HESAA short for New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority. This authority is the secondary market for loans if living in Newark or any other part of NJ and you feel the need for a federal student loan. The good news is that this authority keeps on coming up with flexible and discounted loans for the students seeking loans in NJ. For instance in the state of New Jersey the loans are disbursed by the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) which is the states wing of the Student Finance Corporation. In the case of the New Jersey Student Finance Corporation they waive 1% of the guarantee fee from its borrowers and thus the entire loan amount is used towards education purposes. Federal State Student Finance Corpration do keep coming up with several programs like this and New Jersey is especially active in coming up programs. Another program that they have come up with is NJCLASS Fixed rate which has an interest rate of 6.4% a good 2% below the PLUS Loans and there is a provision to lower the interest rate further by 0.5% Author - Bill Darken - There's a good student loan area along with more relevant general loans assistance such as home, car, and consolidation loans. Lessons I've Learned from Sewing Teddy Bears

By Michelle Yau Normally all of creativity is dedicated to running my jewelry business, Trinity London. However, in recent months, I've decided to try my hand at sewing, specifically making teddy bears. Since I only attempted any type of sewing within the past few months, I have learned many things in the process that I thought I would share.
Lesson 1a:
If you think your cat or dog sheds too much, making a stuffed animal is not for you.
Lesson 1b:
People coming into your house while you are making a teddy bear may think you have sacrificed your pets as part of a cult ritual when they see the amount of fur on the floor.
Lesson 1c:
If your significant other is not attracted to hairy chests, it's probably best to wear something over your clothes.
Lesson 1d:
Even if you bought the fur there in the first place, the people at the craft store will look at you strangely if you don't use a lint roller (or a vacuum... or just burn the clothes and change into something new entirely) before you make a quick stop at the store to pick up that one piece you are missing.
Lesson 1e:
Expect to find stray pieces of fur in odd places (i.e. - on the light switch, the curtains, the shower, etc.) as it clings to everything. Lesson 2a:
Slightly furry reversible fleece fabric makes it much easier to see where you are sewing.
Lesson 2b:
Slightly furry reversible fleece fabric is so thick that it will make your sewing machine buck like a bronco in a rodeo.
Lesson 2c:
It is easier to pierce your thumb with the eye of the needle when attempting hand sewing than it is to pierce two layers of slightly furry reversible fleece fabric with the sharp point of the needle.
Lesson 2d:
When your mother suggests using slightly furry reversible fleece fabric to make a teddy bear because it reminds her of the fabric used on bears when she was younger, pretend not to hear her while swiftly walking away from the slightly furry reversible fleece fabric. Lesson 3a:
If you didn't need to pin the section of fabric you are sewing, but it is still staying together, it is most likely on a fold and you shouldn't be sewing there.
Lesson 3b:
The person who designed the pattern put those marks on the pattern for a reason.
Lesson 3c:
It takes a lot longer to remove stitches than to sew them in the first place. Lesson 4a:
When making a jointed teddy bear, if you use plastic safety joints, be sure they are placed exactly where you want them before attaching the lock washer.
Lesson 4b:
Asking your husband to remove a safety joint after the lock washer has been attached may result in an unexpected flathead screwdriver injury.
Lesson 4c:
It is best not to laugh hysterically at your husband's unexpected flathead screwdriver injury, as he will probably not find it as humorous as you. Lesson 5:
If your cat is a bit skittish, she may impale your loved ones with her claws when she sees you walking into the room with a 2' tall stuffed grizzly bear. Lesson 6:
If you have a child, take a picture of your completed project before you show him/her because you may never see it again.

I hope you have learned a little from my lessons... not that I would have made any of those mistakes myself. When she is not making disastrous attempts at sewing, Michelle Yau is the owner of Trinity London, a jewelry business specializing in awareness ribbon bracelets, rosary bracelets, and other handcrafted beaded jewelry. William Baffin Climbing Rose

By Alan Summers Dramatically Change Your Garden with a Climbing Rose There is no investment, for less money, that will so dramatically change the appearance of a garden or landscape than a properly placed climbing rose. You can probably recall any number of beautiful magazine images of sunny, rose-covered arbors or a rose-covered lattice framing at a home's front door. Climbing roses are extremely versatile garden performers. You can choose to let them artfully climb vertical structures, leisurely tumble over a picket fence or carefully train them on horizontal fence rails to create a narrow hedge. This week we are featuring a climbing rose - William Baffin - the most reliable of all the medium to deep pink climbers. William Baffin, a Canadian developed variety that is just about the best of the renowned Explorer series of roses, has been proven in thousands of gardens over many seasons for its colorful reblooming, low maintenance requirements, excellent disease resistance, unusual cold hardiness and salt tolerance. You will be rewarded with big color from clusters of up to 30, double, strawberry-pink 2 1/2 inch blooms that are moderately fragrant. Clusters of small orangeed hips follow in the autumn and remain into winter, until relished by the local bird population. Beautiful, glossy, green foliage that is totally resistant to diseases, acts as a backdrop for the blooms. William Baffin matures at 10-15 feet, making it ideal for a trellis or arbor. Although bred in Ontario Canada, William Baffin performs equally well as far south as Florida. Planting and Care For best results plant in the fall or spring. Fall planting works particularly well with William Baffin. Plant in full sun for best blooms, but will tolerate partial shade. Plant in well-drained, compost enriched soil. Mulch well the first winter. Pruning and shaping, when necessary, should be accomplished after the initial spring bloom. Fertilize with Rose-Tone monthly from early spring until late summer. Hardy in Zones 4-9. Alan Summers, president of Carroll Gardens, Inc., has over 30 years experience in gardening and landscape design. He has made Carroll Gardens one of Americas preeminent nurseries, having introduced more than 20 new perennials and woody shrubs over the years and reintroduced numerous lost cultivars back to American gardeners. How to Maximize Your Time While Dating and Find the Relationship You Really Want

By Janice D. Bennett, Ph.D. Are you someone who wants a committed relationship, but somehow yours dont end up heading in that direction? Heres some investment advice to help you overcome this dilemma: Q. I continually seem to get into relationships that appear great on the surface (good communication, affection, chemistry, healthy love life, fun, mutual love), but suddenly the guy needs space or wants out completely. They still profess their love, affections and passions, but they want out. I am 40 and my significant others tend to be close to my age or a few years older. The relationships have lasted anywhere from 9 months to 3 years. Any ideas? Donna A. Yes, Donna, I have plenty of ideas, the most important of which is recognizing that this dating dilemma can be avoided before a relationship takes on a life of its own. What I mean is this: rather than feeling like a victim of a mans need for space, you have the power to decide, long before getting further involved, if the relationship is to head towards an exclusive, committed relationship (i.e., marriage), or not. I advocate that the decision to invest more time with a dating partner be made before the fifth date. Thats because people can spend one to three years of their valuable time dating someone before deciding, This is not a good relationship for me. But if you sit down earlier on to talk about the direction you want your relationship to head, i.e., a committed relationship or marriage, then this is when to say so. Based on the outcome of your discussion, you can then decide if you want to become exclusive and invest more time in the relationship. Because I keep hearing about the many commitment-phobes lurking out there, the decision to become exclusive is hence a "pre-commitment. I actually like to call it a commitment to see if we should make a commitment, which I find takes the edge off of making bigger commitments, like deciding to move in together, or get engaged. Dating and communicating in this more cognizant way will help you determine earlier on if your relationship is headed in the direction you want it to. You then have the power to choose whether or not to invest more of your time. Otherwise, youll be in the same water together, but swimming different strokes. Q. I am in a relationship with a woman now for about a year and a half. Both of us come from long, destructive marriages. I feel I am ready to get married, but she says that she's not ready. She says she wants to get to know herself better. I love and adore her and am doing my best to be patient, but Im also fearful that she may never want to marry. What should I do? Steven A. You are in a similar situation as Donna you have invested 1-1/2 years of your time in a relationship that you wanted to lead to marriage, while your girlfriend has instead spent this time with a different goal. The goal, to know herself better, is clearly not something that can be accomplished within the relationship. So you now have to decide if you should invest an additional, unknown amount of time until she is ready to share your goal of marriage. Ive used the term invest in both of my answers here to mean the following: To spend or devote for future advantage or benefit. Like investing money in stocks, bonds or savings accounts, you do so with the expectation that you will receive a specific benefit or profit after a certain period of time. The only currency that singles have in their search for a life partner is time. While investing time is a necessary component in choosing a partner, time can also be wasted if you invest too much of it with someone who isnt headed in the same direction as you. Singles will instead stick around and invest more of their time, hoping that by doing so the other person will eventually change and the investment will pay off. Referring back to the money analogy, this is akin to throwing good money after bad, i.e., investing more money in a failure, or repairing an already poor product. Having said all this, I dont recommend that you stick around and invest any more of your valuable time while your girlfriend embarks on the completely diverse, singular goal of knowing herself better. I suggest you tell her again that you want to marry her, and after being together for 1-1/2 years, you have enough information about each other to get engaged. If she continues to say that her goal is self-knowledge, then you should find someone to invest your time with who shares your goal of marriage. Expecting you to stick around while she pursues her separate goal would be akin to stealing your time. Again, using the time-as-money analogy, this is comparable to stealing money that you could spend on other (more promising) investments. If she eventually determines that she knows herself well enough to accept your proposal, then you have the choice to return to the relationship or not. After all, only you can decide how to spend your money, and your time. Copyright 2005 Janice D. Bennett, Ph.D. About Janice D. Child Safety Products for Kitchens

By Milos Pesic The kitchen is the second most unsafe place in the house for your child. And as much as you want to keep him out of the kitchen, there will be times that his curiosity will get the better of him. Curiosity killed the cat. Admittedly, children are naturally nosey. Their minds are filled with whys and hows and oftentimes, when you are too busy to feed them with answers, they are going to look for those themselves. The kitchen has a lot of interesting things in it. It wouldnt come as a surprise when you see him wander there several times. His inquisitive nature may seem cute, but it wont be for long. How long before he gets his hands on a kitchen knife or on a box of matches? Dont wait for him to discover things for himself. Invest on child safety products for kitchens. The market nowadays has been flooded with products that scream child-friendly. Almost all parents shop for things that will not, in any way, pose risk to their children. Child-proofing your house takes a lot of preparation and a genuine concern for the well-being of your child. It is advisable to start the process with the most dangerous parts of the house like the bathroom and the kitchen. There are several child safety products for kitchens that you can use for your child-proofing. For example, it would be best to use unbreakable plates and glasses, especially for your childs own table ware. Other child safety products for kitchens are the cabinet drawers and locks. Forget convenience and think about safety. These cabinets are the safest places to store things like knives, scissors, and matches. Make sure that you keep them locked so your child wont have access to them. If you have the habit of leaving something to cook in the oven, make sure that you have an oven lock. This is one of the child safety products for kitchens which is very important because your child could get seriously hurt if he tries to open the oven while somethings cooking. Child safety products for kitchens are not meant to replace adult supervision in the kitchen. The most sensible thing to do is to keep them out of the kitchen if no adult is there with them. Even if your have bought child safety products for kitchens like the stove and burner guards, stove knob covers, and cabinet latches, they do not guarantee that your child is safe when left alone in the kitchen. Thus, it would be a good idea to use safety gates to stop them from wandering off into the kitchen. Unless theyre old enough to cook dinner, kitchen is not the place for them to be. New Shingles Vaccine Promoted by Government Advisory Panel

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Edwards] Tim Edwards A government advisory panel recommended to an FDA advisory panel that routine vaccinations should be put into place in order to protect older citizens from the threat of shingles. The Advisory Committee on immunizations voted to recommend routine vaccinations in patients 60 and older. Shingles is a painful skin rash which produces blisters which usually go away after 4 weeks. One in 5 of seniors that contract shingles suffer excruciating long-term nerve pain known as postherpetic neuralgia. According to MSNBC.com, Shingles is caused by the varicella zoster virus, which also causes chickenpox. An estimated 15 percent to 30 percent of people infected with the virus develop shingles later in life. The virus essentially hibernates for decades in nerve cells around the spine. It reactivates in some patients, probably because the bodys immune system weakens with age, doctors say. The recent FDA approval was based on a study that involved 19,000 out of 38,000 people which received the vaccine, the rest received a placebo. People who received the real vaccine got shingles at half the rate of those who received the placebo vaccine. The vaccine which is produced by Merck, is a stronger version of a vaccine currently used to treat chickenpox. The vaccine is currently covered by some insurance health plans however coverage is expected to grow with the recent FDA approval. The vaccine costs around a $160 a shot. Hopefully this will remedy the majority of problems expirienced by seniors that are affected by shingles. Warning Signs

By Terry Coyier When you suffer from a disease like Bipolar it's extremely important that you become intimately in tune with yourself. Not in sense that your favorite movie is "Steel Magnolias" or "Raging Bull" or that you love pizza and taking long walks on the beach. I mean in the sense that you know how your moods manifest in your day-to-day life.Being bipolar and trying to remain a contributing member of society is a difficult task. Many wonderful, talented, bright people watch helplessly as their functionality escapes through their fingers like grains of sand. And these are people who are on meds! Some even go to therapy, too! Sometimes, the more we fight to hang on the quicker the ground gives way beneath us.One tactic I attribute to remaining somewhat functional for the past 7 years is acute awareness of my early warning signs. It works just like the emergency broadcast system except without the annoying beep! It gets tested regularly to make sure it's still relevant and it's there in case of an emergency. It even has an emergency number to call...the one that rings my psychiatrist. Now, when I say early warning signs, I mean EARLY! Not things like "I've been crying for days and don't know why" or "I went out and spent $5000.00 on a new television but didn't pay the electric bill." Those are examples of symptoms of an ensuing episode. It may end up being minor, but it's better to catch the signs long before this stage. The signs I'm talking about are infinitely subtler. They require a magnifying glass to properly identify. No one can tell you for sure what yours are, but some close friends or relatives may be able to point out some behavior patterns that qualify. I also recognize more than just the early signs. Intermediate signs can play an important roll if the early signs don't show themselves or get ignored. Here are some samples of my signs:Early Warnings1. I start to see shadows or movement out of the corner of my eye, but when I turn and look there is nothing. I usually think I saw a bug or spider and I HATE bugs and spiders.2. I am unable to pick out clothes without standing in the closet and staring for 10 minutes at a time. Then, out of frustration, I leave, only to return again 10 minutes later to start the cycle again. Some days it's okay to do this, but if goes on for more than 3 days it's a warning sign for me.3. One occurrence of staying up all night. I am a big sleeper and this is a huge no-no for me!4. While screening my calls (which I normally do anyway) if I don't pick up when my friends call, that's definitely a sign. UNLESS I'm taking a nap and then it doesn't count!5. Waking up more than once in the middle of the night or waking up and not being able to get back to sleep so I get on the computer instead. Once is okay, twice is a phone call to my doctor!6. Not wanting to read bedtime stories to my son. This is a special time and if I'm not in the mood, then my mood is out of whack!Intermediate Warning Signs1. When I hear people talking and assume it's about me and how fat, ugly, mean, stupid, etc. I am; then I'm on the way to the phone!2. Not wanting to shower at least every other day. Hey, I don't sweat and I just sit at the computer, so I don't think it hurts to skip a day here and there!3. Staring out the window for 10-15 minutes at a time, yet not seeing anything or even realizing that I'm doing it.4. Taking over the conversation no matter who I'm talking to at that moment or even who they're talking to at the moment.5. Wanting to go to the mall. Not actually going, just thinking about going is enough. Sounds silly doesn't it? For me it means I want to spend money and I don't have much disposable income. Plus, I'm not real fond of shopping. Even when I need something I still don't like to go!Most of these things have to happen a few times over a period of a couple days to count as a true sign. Usually a couple will occur together and then there is no doubt. As soon as I'm leery I call my psychiatrist and he will adjust my dosage of medicines. Sometimes he will quiz me about my diet and fluid intake as well and correct it if necessary. (He's smart enough not to eliminate my chocolate though!) If I'm getting into multiple intermediate signs then I will even go in for a visit. My sanctity is worth it!I have a responsibility to myself to remain as healthy as possible. It's hard to do if you don't know when you're becoming unstable. And I can't wait until I'm into a full-blown episode because a darling angel depends on me. So I do it for him, too. But mostly I do it because I like myself more when I can think rationally. So, let's do our best to stay healthy and be kind to ourselves as we struggle through the torment of this debilitating disease together! To be a good angler one should know the information that is discussed below. Depth of the water Any water body will have three layers. They are deep layer, middle layer and surface layer. The surface layer will be warmer than the middle layer and the middle layer will be warmer than the deep layer. Before heading for the bass fishing you need to know the existence of the three layers and should be able to find out the temperature of the three layers. Thermometers can be used effectively to measure the temperature of the different layers of water. Bass fish prefers comfortable temperature. Hence in hot weather condition the bass fish will remain in the deep layer as it will be cold. During cold weather condition the bass fish will try to remain in the middle or top layer. Temperature of the water The metabolism of the bass fish is influenced by temperature of the water. There is no second opinion that bass fish can withstand temperature fluctuations better. Bass fishing can be done thorough out the year when the temperature of the water is around 70 -75 degree Celsius. If the water is cloudy which means a lot activity in all three layers, the bass fishing will be difficult. Noise or vibration or other disturbances Bass fishes are highly sensitive to vibration and noises. Hence you need to keep the place as quite as possible. Tooth Whitening - Do Over The Counter Products Work?

By Sarah Wright When it comes to tooth whitening, the best option is nearly always to go see your dentist. They have the quickest and most effective methods for achieving whiter teeth. However, many people cant afford the expensive professional treatments, or theyre just plain scared to go to the dentist. Because of this, millions of people each year are turning to over-the-counter whitening products. Although many of these treatments clearly arent going to be as effective as the expensive option of seeing your dentist, independent tests and studies have proven many of these over-the-counter products to work to some degree. So its definitely an option worth following if you want whiter teeth. Some of the over-the-counter tooth whitening products even contain the same chemicals as professional treatment. Carbamide is the chemical most often used in professional treatment, and some of the better over-the-counter products. But a more commonly used chemical in the over-the-counter products is hydrogen peroxide. One of the advantages to over-the-counter whitening products is that they are fairly cheap. You can get yourself everything you need for around $30 or less. This means its a lot cheaper than going to the dentist, which can run into hundreds of dollars. However, there are some serious draw backs to using over-the-counter products. The main one being that some people arent suited for tooth whitening treatments. The primary reason is that your teeth may have cavities, and other problems that will cause you a lot of painful sensitivity if you were to use a home whitening kit. Also, you have no way of knowing the strength of the whitening chemicals used. This means you dont have any control over how sensitive your teeth will feel. A professional dentist will be able to vary the dosage according to your teeth sensitivity. Another problem that you may have if you use a dental tray is that the tray doesnt cover your teeth properly. This can make it very obvious that youve tried to whiten your teeth, because parts of your teeth will be whiter, while other parts will be left untreated. If you were to have a professional treatment, you can have this tray customized so it fits perfectly. Sarah Wright is owner of the

What Does It Take To Design And Build Your Own Fire Pit?

By Nicole Martins There are many alternatives to creating a fire pit other than buying a firepit model that is ready-made and requires some simple assembly. If you are a do-it-yourselfer looking to design and build your own fire pit you don't need a fancy set of blueprints, just a vision of the type of pit you are looking to create. What does it take these days to build fire pits for outdoor campfires and barbequing? The answer is not a lot. In terms of cost, building a wood burning pit can cost next to nothing and require no more than a few hours of physical labor (especially if you have materials such as rock or brick on hand) to see the fireplace complete. First pick a safe area for your fire pit, away from any structures that can catch fire and definitely out of the way of backyard traffic. Be sure to check with you local fire department for information and codes. You need to know what the rules are before getting started. Getting going will entail quarrying up some fieldstones or brick to line the inside dirt walls of the pit once you've dug the hole. Not to get ahead of ourselves here, but you will need a good old shovel and some back strength to excavate soil. Position your fieldstone or brick around the holes perimeter and extend these materials above ground. The purpose of installing these materials is to keep wind down and the soil away from the fire. You can also build a stucco pit above ground or think of other creative ways of building your pit; magazines or the internet are a great source for tips and ideas. When considering a design you'll want to keep with the look of your home and other existing structures. If you don't have time to dream up design ideas or if you had something more complex in mind, you can order a set of plans online complete with material list, for only a small fee. Once you have finished building, be sure to keep safety in mind. An in ground hearth is a permanent outdoor fixture. You may want to keep it covered when not in use; you can find inexpensive scrap metal and have it cut to fit. Another option is to buy a basic fire pit which should include cover, spark screen, log grill and such and then build your stone or brick wall around it (see http://www.outdoor-fireplaces-and-patio-heaters.com/outdoor-fire-pit.htm ). This limits the chances of children or pets accidentally running into an exposed fire pit and getting burned. If you want to build a gas fire pit, shop for either gas fire logs with or without embers or choose a simple metal fire ring: both ideas will allow you to design the housing for the fireplace and come up with your own plan. Whatever you decide, either to build your own or buy one manufactured, a fire pit is a beneficial addition to your outdoor space, allowing you to grill outdoors or to stay warm on cool evenings. Banks

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ken_Marlborough]Ken Marlborough A bank is an institution that provides different types of financial services; this includes mainly taking deposits and offering credit. Currently, the term bank refers to an institution that holds a banking license to conduct the most fundamental banking services, such as accepting deposits and making loans. For it to be profitable, the bank levies transaction fees on financial services and charges interest on the money it lends. A bank additionally facilitates money transactions such as wire transfers and cashiers checks, issuing credit and debit cards, maintaining ATMs, and storing valuables, particularly in a safe deposit box. Banks' activities can be characterized as retail banking, individual and small-business banking, and investment banking, relating to activities on the financial markets. Most banks, nowadays, are owned privately and work to earn profits. The government owns some non-profit banks. Central banks, as non-commercial bodies or government agencies, have to ensure that interest rates are under control with a sufficient money supply across the whole economy. In times of crisis, they are the last resort for lending money. Commercial banks are different from investment banks and mostly deal with corporations or large businesses. The underserved markets or populations are catered to by community development banks. These are regulated banks that provide financial services and credit. The national postal systems run the Postal savings banks. Private banks manage the assets of high-net-worth individuals. Offshore banks are located in places like Switzerland or the Channel Islands, with low taxation and regulation. Savings banks, in general, accept savings deposits and issue mortgages. Investment banks are slightly different. They work with corporations by underwriting stock and bond issues as well as advising on mergers. Merchant banks refer to banks which provide capital to firms in the form of shares rather than loans. They are different from venture capital firms, and are averse to investing in new companies. When Do You Need Mesothelioma Attorney

By NamSing Then Mesothelioma is a type of preventable cancer that is caused by inhaling the dust or particles of the deadly mineral Asbestos. The symptoms range from shortness of breath, chest pains, and persistent cough in the early stages to abdominal pain, swelling and tumors growing in the tissues that surround the heart and if left untreated could cause death within 24 months. It has a long latency period in that the symptoms of the disease can take many years to manifest, making both diagnosis and effective treatment very difficult. Therefore, people who worked with asbestos industry perhaps thirty or forty years ago are only now being diagnosed with this disease. Many employers and manufacturers knew about the dangers of asbestos when they exposed employees to this material, but deliberately kept quiet and as the effects of this exposure are coming to light, these companies are being forced to pay out millions to sufferers. As more cases of Mesothelioma are reported, a wide range of lawyers and law firms have started to specialize in Mesothelioma law suits to get victims and their families the compensation they deserve. Choose an attorney immediately after diagnosis, because there is a time limit set with regards to how long you have to take action against the Company. This varies from State to State and failing to adhere to this could render your case ineligible. Look only for those experienced in dealing with Mesothelioma lawsuits as they will have the resources and contacts to deal with your case quickly and efficiently. You can search the Internet for a suitable attorney as this will enable you gauge how much experience each lawyer had in dealing with these lawsuits. You need to discuss your case with your Attorney threadbare who will then evaluate your case and provide you with the options like whether you should pursue your case and if so which direction to take it in. as he should present a water-tight case. Many attorneys will arrange for out of court settlements with substantial compensation payments, wherein you will not have to pay your attorney since a percentage of the compensation claimed will be collected by the attorney as contingency fee. And if they are not successful in getting compensation then you do not have to pay anything. Even when the symptoms do become evident, they are so generalized and non-specific that they could be put down to any number of more common diseases which makes it difficult for your attorney to prove that it indeed was Mesothelioma and so also you could be unsure of when and where you were exposed to asbestos and your attorney will need to hire someone to look into this. Winter Ice Makes Fishing Fun

By John Packer With winter quickly approaching, people who live in some of the colder regions of the country are preparing for the ice fishing season. Ice fishing is a charming sport in that people who do it often feel as though they are slipping into character. As you put on the several layers of warm and dry clothing, you can't help but feel as though you are playing the role of some experienced, seasoned fisherman who is about to conquer the hostile environment of the winter's ice and snow. Ice fishing is more than just finding a spot on the ice to dig a hole and drop your line through. It's not as easy as it looks. But what can be so difficult about sitting on the ice waiting for the fish to bite? There is more to ice fishing than simply staying warm. There is a lot of hard work that goes into having a successful day out on the ice - after all, it is called ice fishing for a reason! If you don't catch any fish, what's the point? Everything from making the hole to releasing the fish and all the little things in between require attention to make your day worthwhile. The first thing you should do when arriving at the lake is to make sure it is completely frozen over and thick enough to withstand the weight of you and your equipment. The next step is to begin drilling. The pros say that you should drill your holes first because the noise of the drill can frighten the fish temporarily. If you drill early the fish should have returned by the time you are ready to drop a line. It is smart to drill at least ten feet from shore. Begin by drilling a number of holes in a line and repeat, making several lines. Once your holes are drilled and structure is set, it is time to start fishing! For beginners there are two different approaches to take when ice fishing, active or passive. When most think of ice fishing they imagine the passive method, where you set a few lines and relax, trying to stay warm while you take part in something else like cooking or listening to the game. On the other hand the active approach, as the name implies, is well, active. It is considered active because you fish by jigging by hand or with a wind-operated tip-up. Using a set line is the most common way to ice fish. A set line will usually be rigged with a single small wire hook tied to the end and a split shot attached six to eighteen inches up the line. After hooking a minnow to the end the line is lowered to near the bottom or in the optimal strike zone. You may also use bear paws to add dropper lines to your main line. A dropper line makes it easy to fish at multiple depths with one line. Once the lines are set all that is left to do is sat back and enjoy the winter weather while you wait. When bringing the fishing line in by hand, it is vitally important not to give any slack. To prevent this, grab hold of the line at the surface of the ice with your free hand. Start pulling before your occupied hand is extended as far up as it will go. When the fish is still a few feet below the surface, judge how green the fish still is. If the fish is still very active, it may be harder to get the fish's head through the hole. It is wise to decide before the fish gets to the ice whether or not you are going to attempt to bring the fish through. Once you've got a fish that far, he's all yours. Now that you are familiar with the basics of ice fishing, dress warm, be safe, and go find yourself a frozen lake with lots of fish. Mindfulness and Education: Teachers Must Make It Fun

By Maya Talisman Frost As a mindfulness trainer, Im a big fan of promoting greater mindfulness in the classroom. However, its interesting to me that those who seem to be the most thoughtful and passionate proponents of mindfulness in education are the ones most likely to be trapped by their limited thinking. Now, dont get me wrong. I praise those who introduce silence, stillness and contemplation among students. I applaud those who explain the concept of mindfulness and invite their charges to explore the wonder of watching the mind in action. I celebrate the teachers who use mindfulness as an everyday word in their lessons. But why stop there? In the name of recess, field trips, and all that kids hold holy in school, cant we make mindfulness FUN? By using bells to signal silence and having kids close their eyes in order to be mindful, were sticking to the tried-and-true meditation model. Must we? Could kids settle peacefully in their chairs at the sound of a kazoo? Would they benefit from an eyes-wide-open approach to mindfulness that allows them to be active? Can they develop heightened awareness and concentration while playingwith words, music, numbers, colors, shapes, textures and smells? We learn best when were enjoying the process. Teaching kids to meditate? Great. But we are unnecessarily limiting the possibilities for greater awareness by preachinger, teachingthat meditation is the only path to paying attention. Kidslike the rest of uswant shortcuts. They love games. They remember the things that make them laugh. They pay attention to processes that allow them to be their natural creative selves. Kids see oddball connections and they are extremely resourceful when it comes to playing with even the most mundane objects and concepts. So, lets let them play. Something tells me theyd approach this differently if it were up to them. I encourage teachers to include mindfulness training in the classroom, but I urge them to release their attachment to the notion that it has to be done so SERIOUSLY. Lighten up. Mindfulness is about noticing new things, drawing distinctions, shifting perspectives, and staying fully present. It is the very essence of having fun. The truth is that its impossible to have fun UNLESS youre fully present. So, it seems to me that kids already have an innate tendency to be mindful. With a little guidance, plenty of humor, and a blast of creativity, good teachers can become great mindfulness trainers. As long as theyre having FUN. Beyond The Cooking Contest - My Life Since Winning The Grand Prize

By Kathi Dameron I wasn't one to enter cooking contests, but when the newspaper in my South Florida community ran a cooking contest back in the 1980's, many of my friends suggested that I should enter. The idea sounded sort of fun, but I never expected to win a prize, let alone the grand prize for the entire contest. "Kathi Dameron took home two prizes in the first contest she's ever entered" the story began. The beautifully framed article, that I invested a small fortune to have professionally framed twenty years ago, has traveled with me through several different moves in the years since that wonderful moment in time when my culinary skills and passion were recognized beyond my circle of friends. Back then I had big dreams. Winning that contest represented something profound to me in a indescribable sort of way. Perhaps I imagined that by winning the cooking contest, I had achieved a new level of credibility as a gourmet cook and entertainer. My dream was to be a cookbook author.
When Martha Stewart's first Entertaining book came out, I was shocked and just a tad bit disturbed.
Martha had written and published the book that was in my imagination! I couldn't believe it. I didn't know if I should be happy or sad. For me winning that cooking contest was like a launching pad into an eventual career in food and entertaining. In the 1990's I opened a catering business that often catered to the who's who of Florida. For over ten years, I lived and breathed the delicious aromas of a busy, but often stressful catering kitchen. Eventually, I realized it was time to shift gears and get back to the original dream. I'm still trying to birth a cookbook. God-willing with each new day I am closer to achieving this aspiration. One of the best things that happened during this last year was the wonderful opportunity to write a regular food column in the newspaper. The column comes out every two weeks, so far I've had a stream of food story ideas running through my consciousness that could go well into the next century!
There is no shortage of story ideas in my imagination, but rather perhaps a measure of frustration that I'm not capturing all these ideas and getting them into print. I get the idea that once I break through the barriers of doing my first cookbook, the others will be a piece of cake to roll out. Well, that's the story on how my life has evolved since I won the Grand Prize in a Florida cooking contest. Kathi Dameron is a free-lance writer and food columnist. New Surgical Treatment Options for Hernias

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_R._Lopez] Joseph R. Lopez Hernia repair is one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures worldwide. In fact, there are over 600,000 hernia repair surgeries performed each year in the U.S. alone. A hernia is a weakness or defect in the abdominal muscles which can result in the protrusion of tissue through an opening in the outer layers of the abdominal wall. Hernias can develop at any part of the abdominal wall, but generally occur in areas that have a natural tendency to be weak. These areas include the groin (inguinal hernias), umbilicus (umbilical hernias), hiatus (hiatal hernias) and incisions from previous surgeries (incisional or ventral hernias). While hernias generally do not pose serious long-term health problems, they can cause severe pain and discomfort for those suffering from this condition. Hernias may be present from birth, or can be caused by strain on the abdominal muscles. In either case, hernias do not go away by themselves and depending on the degree of bulging or pain, generally require a surgical procedure to be repaired. Hernia repairs are usually done on an elective basis, which means that the patient and physician decide whether or when the procedure should be performed. Emergency procedures are only done for strangulated hernias, which are hernias that have become pinched to the point that the blood supply is cut off. These hernias require immediate medical attention since they can become infected and lead to a life threatening condition very quickly. Hernias are typically repaired through a surgical procedure called herniorrhaphy, in which the surgeon repairs the hole in the abdominal wall by sewing surrounding muscle together or by placing a patch called mesh over the defect. Most surgeons make an incision at the site of the hernia in order to gain access to the defect, although some surgeons prefer to do these procedures laparoscopically. During a laparoscopic hernia repair, the surgeon makes very small incisions to pass through specialized instruments and an endoscope, a device that allows the surgeon to see the abdominal area without opening the patient up. Laparoscopic hernia repair generally results in less postoperative pain and recovery time than open surgery. There is still a great deal of controversy over the long-term benefits of laparoscopic hernia repair, however, and it is by no means an option for every patient. The use of surgical mesh to repair hernias is gaining in popularity with surgeons. Most meshes currently on the market are made from synthetic materials such as polypropylene, polyester, silicone or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known by the DuPont brand name Teflon. While these meshes have good strength characteristics, they remain in the body as permanent implants and sometimes can cause adverse reactions when the surrounding tissue identifies these materials as foreign bodies. In order to avoid adverse reactions to synthetic materials, some surgeons prefer to use meshes made of biomaterials which are gradually resorbed by the body over time and are then eliminated through biological processes. Since these meshes are not permanent implants, they generally only offer temporary repair of abdominal wall defects and additional surgical procedures are sometimes required to replace the absorbed mesh. An alternative to synthetic and absorbable mesh is human tissue. There are a handful of companies that are now marketing processed, freeze-dried human dermis for soft tissue repair and augmentation. This material is implanted using the same technique as other meshes and provides for revascularization, cellular ingrowth and remodeling into the patients tissue. While this option generally provides a permanent repair with few adverse reactions, the processing and distribution of human tissue is not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as are most other products that are implanted in the human body. In fact, there have been a number of recent cases of serious infections and even deaths resulting from the implantation of human cadaveric tissue during surgical procedures. New technologies have recently been developed to solve the problems associated with the use of synthetic substances, absorbable materials and human tissue in hernia repair procedures. Scientists in Europe have been conducting research and development into alternatives to these products over the past two decades and have made major breakthroughs in this area over the past several years. New ways of collecting and processing natural materials have led to a series of products that offer the strength of synthetic compounds, the biocompatibility of biomaterials and the regenerative properties of human tissue. What material can offer all of the benefits of the previously mentioned products without the corresponding disadvantages? Porcine dermal collagen has an architectural structure very close to human tissue, and is therefore readily recognized as friendly by the human body. A leading medical technology company in Europe has developed a patented process by which a sheet of porcine dermis is converted into a safe and effective surgical implant for soft tissue repair and augmentation. The process, which takes several weeks to complete, removes all non collageneous material from the sheet except elastin, and stabilizes the material through a cross-linking process. The result is an acellular, non reconstituted, non allergenic membrane which has excellent strength characteristics, is completely biocompatible and provides a permanent solution for the repair of abdominal wall defects. Since the material itself is a byproduct of the meat packaging industry, it is more readily available than human tissue. In addition, the harvesting and processing of the material is strictly regulated by local government, as well as international directives and quality standards. This collagen surgical implant has been used in Europe for these types of procedures for several years and there is strong clinical evidence of the safety and effectiveness of the product. In fact, the implant has been approved for sale in the U.S. by the FDA and there have not been any adverse reactions reported after several thousand implantations in Europe. Not only is it safe, since the structure of the collagen is so similar to human tissue, once it is implanted the sheet provides the basis for cellular ingrowth and revascularization. This results in a permanent fix in even the most difficult cases. In addition to the positive clinical outcomes, surgeons like the fact that they do not need to change their surgical technique to use this product. They can use the same exact same steps they would use for synthetic or absorbable surgical mesh in both open and laparoscopic procedures. Only physicians can properly diagnose and appropriately treat hernias. However, patients have the right to actively participate in decisions that affect their health or quality of life. Information about the various treatment options that are currently available can play an important part in the discussions between patients and their physicians regarding the best surgical treatment option for them. Catch More Fish With an Organized Tackle Box

By John Packer There are fishermen of all sorts across the land. Some have been reeling in the "big one" for decades, whereas others can only dream of the day when the "big one" bites. Some fishermen prefer the ocean, others like rivers and streams, whereas many like the freshwater lakes. Despite any differences amongst fishermen, there is one must: the right equipment and an organized tackle box. Most fishermen have accumulated various lures, tackle, rods, and reels over the years. They have developed favorites, and they certainly have discovered which equipment works best in which conditions. Being prepared with the right equipment to suit the fishing conditions will make or break a fishing trip. One way to prepare yourself as a fisherman is to have an organized tackle box. Organizing all of your gear, especially what is located in your tackle box, has many advantages. Some of these include: 1. Many fishermen don't fish in the same fishing spot every time they go out. In fact, some may fish in the ocean one day and on the lake the next. If your gear is organized according to what conditions you will be fishing in, you will most likely have a more successful trip. Better yet, organize two different tackle boxes; one for freshwater fishing and the other for saltwater fishing. 2. No tangled lures! That is the worst; you get out onto the water and are all set to go, only to find that all of your lures are tangled into a huge mess. You end up spending half of your time fixing the jumbled mess. By using a tackle box that is designed to separate lures and keep them from tangling with other lures you are going to save yourself a lot of time. 3. Quick lure exchange. Whether you are in the middle of a tournament or just enjoying a Saturday afternoon, no one likes wasting time changing their lures. With a tackle box that is organized you are bound to spend more time with your line in the water. If you haven't yet bought a tackle box, or are looking into an upgrade for better organizational benefits, consider these aspects before buying: 1. Durability. You definitely don't want your nicely organized tackle box falling apart on you. Pick a strong plastic or a metal that won't rust. Fishing is not for pansies, your tackle box shouldn't be built like one either. 2. Is it waterproof and watertight? Most tackle boxes are made of material that is waterproof, but can water still creep inside through the cracks? This could form mold on your expensive equipment if there is not adequate ventilation. Some boxes come with removable parts to air out wet lures and remove any water that snuck in. 3. The size and function of your tackle box should largely depend on your intended use. Tournament fishermen need to have quick access to different lures and a fairly light box. The same goes for shore fishermen; they have to carry their tackle box to the shore, so it would make sense to consider weight when purchasing a new tackle box. On the other hand, many fishermen use the same boat and prefer to store their tackle box on board. In this case, they can afford to have a bit more weight in exchange for extra storage or waterproofing features. 4. It is always nice to have a little extra space for gear other than lures, weights, etc. A compartment for a pair of pliers (with quick access) is a plus. Some tackle boxes even come with a spot for a flashlight; always handy when fishing at dawn or dusk. All fishing trips require a certain amount of planning. One of the most important keys to a successful "catch" is starting with an organized tackle box. Heal Your Dry Skin Overnight Naturally

By Helen Hecker Dry skin happens more often in the winter where the cold air outside and the hot air inside creates a low relative humidity. Xeroderma literally means "dry skin". Xeroderma is a very common condition. Skin is considered one of the most important parts of the body. Skin also receives less blood flow and lower gland activity. The skin is often known as "the largest organ of the human body". The dermis is the layer of skin beneath the epidermis that consists of connective tissue and cushions the body from stress and strain. The dermis is tightly connected to the epidermis by a basement membrane. The blood vessels in the dermis provide nourishment and waste removal to its own cells as well as the epidermis. Certain drugs, including diuretics, antispasmodics, and antihistamines, can contribute to dry skin. Serious skin complications, including dry skin, can arise for people with diabetes. Nutritional deficiencies, especially deficiencies of vitamin A and the B vitamins, can also contribute to dry skin. Xeroderma can also be caused by a deficiency of vitamin A, systemic illness, overexposure to sunlight or some medications. Thick, oily-type moisturizers work best. Drink plenty of water every day. Use bath oils and moisturizers daily. Put 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in your smoothies. Concentrating on a diet of LOTS of fruits and vegetables (preferably uncooked) and no junk food, should give you an observable improvement within 30 days. Eat at least one organic apple with the skin on every day. Eat foods that contain essential fatty acids. Good skin is often a reflection of a good digestive system. The best treatment I've found for dry skin is coconut oil. Use coconut oil to remove your make-up at night, like I do; it leaves a fine layer of oil to nourish your skin all night long. It just takes motivation, a willingness to try it, and diligent application of coconut oil several times daily and at bedtime to see its benefits. Use bath oils and moisturizers, especially coconut oil, at least daily. The skin must be regularly cleaned or it'll become cracked or inflamed. Unclean skin favors the development of pathogenic organisms - the dead cells that continually slough off of the epidermis mix with the secretions of the sweat and sebaceous glands and the dust found on the skin to form a filthy layer on its surface. The skin is subject to constant attack from without, so can be affected by numerous conditions, diseases and ailments. Go to your skin doctor if dryness and itching are preventing you from sleeping. Continue using coconut oil and the benefits of good, clear skin, free of dryness and other skin conditions should be your reward. You should see the results with improved skin overnight following this advice. Beach Birthday Party Ideas

By Abdul Martin Birthday parties at the beach are really fun. They are a little expensive if you hire an outside caterer and lots of helping men but its well worth it. Timing Timing from 5 p.m. onwards are the best. Its great to watch the sun go down at the beach and all your guests coming one by one. Proper planning is the key. Check out the weather forecast first.
If the forecast is bad but you still want to go ahead just make sure there is an alternative place to hold your party in case the clouds become unfriendly. Hiring a band of musicians is not that difficult and will create an atmosphere will nobody gets bored.
Its best to have a background music being played than just keep the guests bored until they amuse themselves with a piece of the pie! And coming to games. A very exciting game to play is musical chairs. On the beach there is a lot of space and the child participants will have a ball.
